Las Vegas part 4
The famous old casinos are still here, all renovated and expanded to
compete with the new kids on the block. The number of huge
hotels/casinos are so many that it will take a month to get around to
all of them. Each offers free parking garage parking in back and
enough amenities and interior attractions that one casino alone
could keep a tourist busy for a week.

The new monster casinos range from Monte Carlo (left) that can
be easily mistaken for Ceasar's Palace to the Luxor
(right) which is like walking into a hug video game. This
Eqyptian pyramid has a dark, cavernous gem interior with virtual
reality shows. Many people dislike it. An extremely bright light beam
appears out of the top of the pyramid, but only for a few hours in
the evening because of its light pollution.

No matter what your style, or who you go with, there is a casino that
fits. The trouble is figuring-out where to go. Circus Circus is a
favorite with kids, the Hilton for Trekies, and Rio is for those who
want Mardi Gras year round.
