The Fremont Street Experience
Of course, if you really want that "Brat Pack" experience of old Las
Vegas there's no place like Fremont Street downtown. And they've
recently taken it one step further inorder to compete with the huge
suburban casinos. They's domed over the entire street and made it into
a pedestrian mall.
The Fremont Street Experience is topped several times each evening
with a seven block light show of computer graphics and sound. People
pack the pedestrian mall and stay to take advantage of this Times
Square mix of casinos and tourist attractions.
No free parking here, and you'd better be prepared for urban traffic
and abuse. Yet, you have your choice on Fremont Street. From
McDonald's to flashing lights to keep you up all night.
