Of course, what dominated the Las Vegas skyline is the Stratosphere
hotel and casino. What it lacks in style it makes up for in a thousand
foot tower where you can ride a roller coaster or look out over the
city 800 feet up. It costs money to go to the top whether you are
going to observe, eat at the revolving restaurant, or paying more
to ride the two amusement park rides. On your way you'll go up a cirle
ramp past another of the many shopping malls inside today's big
casinos.
The best views of Las Vegas are from the top of the Stratosphere,
day or night. There's both an interior and exterior observation
deck.
NEW YORK, NEW YORK !
Yet, the newest, most popular casino/hotel is New York, New York. It's a
complete bombardment of NYC landmarks on the outside with a
rollercoaster circling around. Inside is yet another visual explosion
of various NYC neighborhoods, some complete with graffitti. NY,NY has
the right amount of playfulness, visual excitement, and a middle class
American welcomeness.
