Las Vegas part 2
Three new casinos are opening in 1999 including a new Paris with
Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe. Next to it will be the new Venetian,
a casino for those who love the city of Venice. Down the road is
Manadalay Bay, opening March, 1999.

The largest casino/hotel remains the MGM Grand with over 5,000 hotel
rooms and an amusement park. Next to the MGM is the Showcase Mall with
such features as the All Star Cafe, GameWorks with the latest in video
games and virtual reality, a multi-screen movie theatre, and a Coca-
Cola memorabilia museum.
CEASARS PALACE

One of the perenial favorites and the casino with the most class is
Ceasar's Palace. Drive right in the front, past the fountains, and
park for free in the back parking garage. The outside of the casino is
peppered with classical sculpture, but the inside statues are a must
see. Ceasar's has the ritziest shopping mall in the world with a
continual lighting change every hour that mimmicks morning, high noon,
and dusk. The central fountains in the mall come to life at various
times with a multi-media display of water, fire, light, and fully
animated figures.
