San Francisco
San Francisco has more than one art museum as well as other pavillions
left over from past world's fairs. Both before and after the 1906
Earthquake, San Francisco saw the need to let the world know it was in
business. Though nothing to sneeze at for older eastern cities, these
neoclassical structures are quite unique for the west coast. The last
great exhbition was on Treasure Island in the middle of the bay in the
middle of the Bay Bridge that connect Oakland with the city. It was
taken over by the military for WWII, but plans are underway to make a
major attraction out of the island again.

One of the most popular tourist destinations is Ghiradelli Square.
It's the old factory for mustard and chocolate products that
overlooks the marina. The old buildings have been renovated into shops
and offices. You can find sweet treats and artwork, or just take in
the view.

Yes, San Francisco has a lot to offer. Tourists from all over the
world frequent the city. The person next to you might speak German or
Japanese.
